Hello Again... :)

Salam and Hello again everyone...
Am soo.. sorry for the long silence. Encountered a life 'hiccup' late last year but alhamdulillah, manage to start fresh this first quarter of the year :)

Actually, I've posted a few updates but they were left in my drafts box until now that I have the opportunity to be back blogging again. Stay tune and I'll keep you updated on some of my recent projects ya!

Faridah's 50th!

My aunt had a wonderful surprise party for her 50th birthday. My cousins and I had planned the party since a year ago! We wanted it to be small and intimate, a party only for family and close friends. The theme was Hot Pink and Orange.

On top of the surprise party, we had another surprise for her: My cousin, Faheem who was supposed to come home from London on July 20th, came back early to specially surprise his mom on her birthday. Double surprise for her! Faheem who was working as a chef in London, cooked a three course meal for the dinner guests. We hope that everyone had enjoyed themselves that night and may it be a birthday to remember for years, and years to come!

(3) I made one centerpiece for the coffee table and six flower posies in white pots consisting of roses, carnations and mums in shades of hot pink and orange

* The party table setting. Just a simple one because the Chef did 'plating' meaning the three course meal came straight from the kitchen to the guests. It was still a buffet style sitting due to a shortage of tables and chairs :P

* Notice the LCD screen: We played a video celebrating the 50 years in my aunty's life. Saw the tears in her eyes.. We are happy that she enjoyed her party :)

I love these! They are very pretty and come in various shades. The designs are intricate and made from comfortable and cooling fabric to be worn in our warm weather.

English Country Rose

One of my favorite project is this one! I was asked to arrange a flower centerpiece for this classic looking urn to put on a coffee table. The client requested pastel colored flowers with a touch of elegance. After going to the heart of the city browsing and looking for the flowers, I finally manage to find what I was looking for. I wish I can have them for my home :)
